Brunching on the weekend

It seems that our generation surrounds experiences around food. At least this is what my mom says whenever I talk about plans for the weekend. That being said, it seems fitting that I include another brunch outfit (including some decent Labor Day Sale Finds!) on the blog! Despite the colors of this outfit being too similar to the LSU school colors, I have to include a disclaimer that I am a University of Texas fan (I bleed burnt orange)! Although, if you are an LSU fan, this would make a perfect game day dress!

This cute (albeit short) purple dress was a good Labor Day Sale find (now at an extra 60% off!) at my one and only- LOFT. It’s got super cute ruffles in the back and is perfect for end of summer weather. The material is silky and thin- so good for warmer weathers, and can be easily converted to a winter look with a cardigan and ankle boots.

I paired it with my saffron  Kate Spade handbag (also featured here) for a nice contrast and pop of color. Shoes and other jewelry- you’ve seen before! Even though my three-day weekend was a little uneventful, it was a much needed break! Hope your Labor Day weekend was what you wanted!
